I have a few reasons for taking this course. First, it keeps my brain in use rather than sitting around the house and doing nothing. Second, being in summer school helps me to find my way around the building before the actual school year starts and it gives me the oppotunity to meet some new people. Last, coming from a grammar school that used Apple computers, I can now get used to using a Dell computer if there are any differences.

A reason I chose this course is to help improve my abilities in computers. A career that I'm intrested is to be an accountant or banker. In those profession, I have to use computer for things like saving information, finding information, and keeping track of things.
I took this class in order to improve my typing speed and accuracy. Last year in 8th Grade I always had problems doing homework on the computer. It would always take a long time and was very annoying. This class will help improve my typing skills and prepare me for my freshmen year at Loyola Academy. By the end of this session I hope to have acquired extremely fast and accurate keyboarding skills as well as some information and understanding about computers and how they work.

There are a couple of reasons why I chose to take this course. First reason is because I wanted become a faster typer. Another reason is because I have to write alot of papers and essays for school and knowing how to type would help me get them done faster than not knowing how to type. The last reason I chose this class is because I think that knowing how to type is very important and noone wants to be a pecker all theit life. One thing that I hope to accomplish is to be typing sevety-eighty words per minute (70-80 wpm)
I took this keyboarding class so that i could learn how to type faster and make it more easy and faster to write any papers that are coming up this next school year. I was also made to do something by my mom and she just signed me up for this class.
My reasons for taking this keyboarding course was to increase my typing skills so I can type homework and papers better. I feel by the end of this course i will have faster typing skills and good accuracy. I'm also interested in this class because I would like to learn more about computers than what i already know. This course gives good benefits towards jobs like a scientist, or a secretary. I think this class has a lot to offer and will definitely be a big help for the rest of my years throughout high school.

I like to go with what Willy said. I would like to do something over the summer not watch television and play video games. I hope to type very fast at the end of this course.

I decided to take take this course so my typing skills would be improved. I wanted to change my typing skills from not looking on the keyboard. I know that this class will help me become better in my typing skills.
In response to what Fuhad A., I agree with his comment. In order to go into careers that involves computers you will have to learn how to type.
In response to what willy said I completely agree. I also came from a school that used Apple computers. They are very different frim these Dells and take some time getting used to.
I chose to take this course because I like working with computers. I hope to be able to type faster when school starts in the fall. Typing faster will help me when it comes to working on term papers and other school projects. I choose this class so that i could improve my typing skills so that it wouldnt take me as long to finish a paper and also because i just like to work on computers, also i choose tyhis class because the work field that i want to enter requires me to know them well and it requires me to know how to type.

I chose this class because learning how to use a computer is an important thing for me to do especially since i go to a school where technology is used so much. Learning the proper way to type will help me in school with essays and homework and plus I always wanted to learn how to become a faster typer and I think this class will show me how to do that.
I agree with James in the fact that this class can be more fun than just sitting in a classroom listening to a teacher. This is more hands on and I like it a lot better than then having to sit in a room and not be doing anything but listening.

I agree to what most people say like patrick and tadar said because I need to learn the proper technique with accuracy and speed.
I chose to take this course to get better at my typing speed, and to get better at typing without looking down. I hope to accomplish typing around 35 words per minute. I agree with Tadar because I basically want to learn how to do the basics at a good pace.
There are many reasons why I decided to take this course. The main reason I took this course was so I can become a better typer. Another reason is it is almost every job that you find, now and days, involves using computers. My final reason is I want to be knowlegeble about computers.
My reason for taking this class is because I wanted to increase my speed in typing. But also, I took this class because I needed another half-credit class, so I chose this one.

I have many reasons for taking this keyboarding class. One of those reasons include improving my typing skills. This is important because using the computer has become a regular routine for me, and having the proper form and technique is useful. Another reason is so in the future, keyboarding will not be an issue for me. When I grow up I want to be an sucessful adult, and part of that is being able to work well with computers at an proper pace and speed.

He chose this class because he goes to a school where technology is used so much. I, also, chose the class for that same reason. At my school there are no text books. All of are books are on computers. I think this class would prepare me for my computer using during the school year.

Fuhad i am commenting to your post about why you like this course and i discovered that we both have the same perspective. We are both looking at similar fields involving computers and this can help us go further in reaching those goals. I agree that this course can help us do good for jobs like an accountant or banker because we will have learned a lot of good qualities about computers from loyala's staff. I think your comment is good and hope you reach your goals.
Some reasons why I chose this course was because i wanted to learn more about computers. I wanted to know how to type without making mistakes. I wanted to know what I can and can't do to a computer. If my computer was broken i wanted to know how to fix it. I think this course will help me improve in typing and also in knowing what to do to my computer to keep it safe.
My reason for taking Keyboarding class is to be able to have good speed. I hope to accomplish getting better at my speed at typing by the end of this course. This skill will help me in the future, because in my future career I will need to learn how to type with speed and accuracy.
I go to summer school because first, my mom made me so I would not be at home sitting around and not doing anything and second, to become a better typer. In my class I am probably the fastest typer but I know I need to improve some more. I like to type but it is very hard trying to learn the new way. Hopefully when I am done with this class I'll be able not to look at the keyboard while typing.
There are many reasons I choose to take this class. This fall I will be a freshman at Loyola, and I think it will be imperative that I am a good typist. It will give me a head start when typing papers and reports. After using an iMac my whole life, I think that I need to get used to using a Dell. Also, computers are a very important part of life, and this class should give me an understanding of how they work and the right way to use them.

Brianna B, I agree with your post. A big problem I have with typing is that I make many mistakes. If I can improve my accuracy, I will become an all-around better typist.

I have always been a slow typer. Back at my old school we would always have to type papers and I would be one of the last ones done. Taking this class wasn't the original plan for my summer, but my mom wanted me to get a head start for my first year in high school. There's going to be a lot of projects my first year, and need to be able to type quickly and accurately.

I chose this class because at my highschool we have laptops and that is were most of my homework was done on. But, I could never type at a speed were I was typing fast and accurate. So, hopefully this class will help me improve on my typing.

The reason I took this course is because it will help me later on in life. In school when I have to write papers or do homework. I will be able to finish a lot quicker then before. What I would like to get out of this class is better typing skills.
I mainly took this class because i've never really been a good typer. I took this class so that at the end of the summer I will be able to type papers without as much hassle as it used to be. Also I wanted to learn more about computers, although I may be able to use power point there are many computer apps I do not know how to use yet.

I have many reasons for choosing this class. My main reason is to improve my typing speed. My second reason is to learn about computers inside and out. My third reason is that no one really taught me how to type so I developed a bad typing technique and it used to take me so long to type a paper. My goal for the summer is to type 50 words per minute.
i took this class because i took this class at my school and didn't do that well. I wanted try another typing class to see if i could improve my skills.
The reason I took this coarse was because in the past few years my computer skills were very weak, so I decided to gain speed and accuracy to type my papers. I also am going to be doing more speeches, so I need to be prepared by using my new knowledge

I picked keyboarding as a course because it will help me improve my typing skill also it will help me in future for jobs and other things. I am taking this class to improve my type writing skill.I want to improve so that I could keep up with my teacher when I am in class. This class would help me in the long run because I want to be a lawyer and lawyer has to do a lot of typeing and a lot of writing. So I am also doing this for my career. But over the course of the summer I hope to improve my speed, technic, and knowlegede of the keyboard because I want to be the best that I can be.

There are many reasons I chose to take keyboarding. The first reason was to improve my typing skill to a point where I am fast and acurate, i'm positive this will help in my future at Loyola and college. Another reason is to get to know the school better, I can't imagine how bad it would be if I couldn't find my classes; That would not be a good first impression. Also being in this class prevents my brain from being idle, which means I wont be used to schoolwork when the year starts and I might fall behind. So I think being in this class is the best thing to do for my education.

There are many reasons as to why I wanted to take a computers course. As I prepare to attend an Ivy League college, I will need the ability to type essays and reports. I believe this class will prepare me for it well. In order to navigate through the Internet easily I will need this skill as well. This course will mostly prepare me for the corporate world where computers are essential to doing everything

Originally I didn't want to take this course,especially since I had already taken this class for 3 years. Although I wasn't placed in this class by choice, I do understand that it will strengthen my ability to type. along the lines of my future use of the computer, I believe that having computer skills is required with any career or job, including Forensic Science,which is my ideal career.
I am in this class because I was transfered from honors geometry. Hopefully being in this class will help improve my computer skills, especially typing. I would also like to get credit for the regular school year because I honestly don't want to take this class for a whole semester.
I agree with Tadar. I also want to learn the proper way of typing, because I'm definitely doing it all wrong!
